Cooks bay launch for canoe

Visitor from China and I would like to get our fellow members to direct me where to launch my canoe close to parking spot because I hurt my back and cannot walk to far. Still want to bring them out for white fish or lakers fishing. Any advise for how deep and what kind of lures to use?

There are no whitefish nor lakers in Cook's Bay area. Water is tooooooooooooo shallow!

Try water around 100 feet deep off Big Bay Point, Innisfil.

so sounds like there'll be 3 of you fishing out of a canoe in big water for the first time
don't think that's a wise act, not only the chance for beginners to run into WF/LT is slim, but more importantly there's the safety concern

I'd recommend you guys to start with some fun fishing Cook's Bay for them Jumbo Perch for now...safety first!
