Keep & Consume 666 - Parasites caught today

Was lucky enough to found FRESH PARASITES from couple fish I caught today.

Please feel free to consume those parasites as suggested by some board members.

On a side note,
Am I a person who nags/bashes non-C&R fishermen?
Or am I a person who is truly concerned about non-C&R fishermen consume infected fish without knowing the issue?

posting this very same msg in all threads that someone kept a steelhead is considered nagging to me, people post their legal catch on the forum to entertain others, say something good or say nothing at all

You started to post things like that long before the parasites thing come along

"Best wishes to those who consumed those infected fish"

Well, you can argue it seems like a nice thing to say in all aspects but we all understand sarcasm pretty good.

Also I bet you won't quote an article here when "scientist found that eating Lake Ontario steelheads MAY help prevent yellow fever or something"

As I stated, I don't eat those fish so I don't feel offended by that comment at all, but those who do eat steelhead will be offended.

Try to phrase yourself better IF you want to say something nice next time. Otherwise your comments are expressing yourself pretty good.

Also it is pretty dumb to say "feel free to consume those parasites as suggested by some board members", nobody ever said that, please quote the post you referred to here and let us see it.

Try to be a responsible person before worrying about the fishery, only my 2 cent suggestion.

Your reaction to someone's discomfort and question was laughing and mocking. That attitude's worse than those parasites you found. Your approach towards raising the general awareness of fishery protection has been one that's teasing and sarcastic. Your comments that involved contemptuous language such as "please feel free to consume those parasites as suggested by some board members" are extremly absurd. You've lost my respect. As a matter of fact, I now doubt your "original intention".

I start to believe that your intention is to put the shame on those who don't do catch & release all the time and that you enjoy hearing the discomfort of your fellow anglers. That's another reason that you have lost my respect.

Anyways, you are you, and I am me. Who cares the difference!!

A lot of bass, sunfish and perch except walleye in great lakes might be contaminated by different parasites for instance yellow grub and black spot parasites.

It is such a relief to know that you have not consumed any infected fish and I assume you will definitely not consume those infected fish especially after knowing parasites are being found as stated above.

Believe it or not, I have positive responses from board members thanking me for letting them know the parasite issue which they were not aware of.
I thank them for their support and am glad to know that fellow board members who have read my post will make their own decisions with such knowledge in mind.

I truly believe you are an enthusiastic/passionate/responsible fisherman like I have been for years and would appreciate if you could have a brief prior-discussion with me in a private manner instead of an act of outrageous public out-bursting.

I assume you have not had a chance to read all my previous posts/replies (Catch & Release series) before making the conclusion that "Your approach towards raising the general awareness of fishery protection has been one that's teasing and sarcastic".

I believe someone as wise as you are would have a different opinion about I once you realize how this incident came along because of someone mistakenly misunderstood my original intention.

Besides, board administrators would have taken actions if I were to violate any board rules including openingly offending others.
