I believe battery matters more than the drill does
problem is, they are paired

这个转的型号应该是2704 或2706。

I heard that you have Milwaukee Drill, can u tell me how many holes per charge per battery and how much it cost?

With a Milwaukee M18 RedLithium Battery which has capacity of 2.0AH, 3.0AH, 4.0AH, 5.0AH or 9.0AH.

With the 5.0AH one, and with a 8-inch auger bit, and with ice say around 1 foot (12 inches) deep, you can drill over 20 holes easy peasy.

(And this M18 5.0AH battery costs $159 regular. But if you can get it when on-sale, it shall be a bit cheaper)

My Milwaukee drill is Model 2604-20 with 725 in-lbs torque. There is also a newer model 2704-20 which offers 1,200 in-lbs torque. Don't buy anything with this torque lower than 600 in-lbs I am sure. One 5.0AH M18 battery shall be good for a day on ice, but it does not hurt to have a backup battery anyway. And here is my setup:

This is the model of Milwaukee Drill you should buy if you want to use it for ice auger
M18 Fuel 1/2" Hammer Drill (2704-20), when you buy the drill, it normally comes with either one or two battery and the changer.

This drill is more powerful than the one he has, this is the newer model, this one 1,200 in-lbs of Peak Torque, the one he has is 725 in-lbs of Peak Torque.

Did you read my post above :-): "My Milwaukee drill is Model 2604-20 with 725 in-lbs torque. There is also a newer model 2704-20 which offers 1,200 in-lbs torque..."

In short: Buy drill Model 2704-20 if you can get a good deal. Or else buy drill Model 2604-20.

Note: A package (with drill, battery and charger)'s model number is different from the model number for the drill itself. For example, there is the package 2704-22 (as seen above in the pic). Please make sure the drill included in the package is model 2704-20. Similarly there might be package 2604-26, please check and make sure the drill included in the package is 2604-20.

Any deal in Milwaukee? I search all morning but no special deal
