DC （digital control）即是 “低级偷 看愁” 低级的小偷 看着就发愁 的意思

shimano的专利，所以其他牌子的渔轮都没有这个电子刹车技术
原理是：
在抛投的最初始瞬间，饵的初速度和线杯的初始转速是最高，这个时候不需要刹车来降低线杯转速（来配合饵的飞行速度也就是出线速度） （来增加抛投距离，因为初始阶段没有刹车力 不消耗初始动能）
而随着饵飞出，受到空气阻力和地心引力的影响而逐渐减速，这时候才需要逐渐加大刹车来控制线杯的速度来使线杯的转速与出线速度同步 （来减少炸线）

传统离心刹车和磁力刹车是初始阶段，饵刚抛投出去的时候刹车就在的，这样会损失前期的初速度（不必要的）

Things I know that are facts:

1. The DC system is literally a digitally controlled brake system(quite a number of ppl think its just a fancy name).
2. The DC system monitors the spool speed and applies less or more brakes depending on spool speed.
3. The system recharges itself everytime you cast, so no batteries or funny stuff to change.
4. It is the most advanced braking system currently out there(from a technology PoV).

Things that I hear but I'm not sure if they are actually true(Conflicting points are in bold):

Good:

1. The DC system is so good that with exceptions of extreme situations, for the most part you can cast without even thumbing the spool(except to stop the lure).
2. The system is so intelligent that you actually do cast further than regular centri or mag brake systems in almost any condition.
3. The system is brainless to use/setup/change on the fly.
4. The system is actually very durable and ez to maintain.
5. "It's a good investment, worth every cent"

Bad:

1. The system breaks down very easily from water and other elements.
2. Repairing a broken DC reel could take months.
3. The whole DC system is pretty crappy and overrated and the normal systems do just as well.
4. "Ayah, waste money la"

看油管，说是tension紧一点就不是炸先，当然会损失些距离。
