This is the reason why you need to put cleats on the gunnel
Add a bull snap to the rope too for quick actions

请问楼主你用的铝合金材料是哪里买的？ 我在找宽点的（比如2x6）中空方管，准备做个安装down rigger架子。

我船是gunnel和你第一个照片一样，Lund的那个支架看着不够解释，傻贵不说，而且家附近也找不到哪里有卖。
我准备搞个和你第二张图里面类似的架子，但是不用那个track system了，太贵了。

昨日惊魂，差点吓尿 :verysad 是个警示，安全第一
1：出门挂 Hitch，Ball没有完全进去就锁了，结果Hitch是压在Ball上的，好在拐第一个弯，感觉声音不对，及时发现及时处理 :yes
2：椒叔的建议太受用了 :up 。按他的建议装了 Safety Chain Connecting Trailer & Boat。结果昨天把船从水里拖出来，刚要上大路，就听见崩地一声，拉船的绳真的短了。好在有Safety Chain 连着， :redfaced 没有想到那么结实的绳子居然也能断 :verysad
所有建议大家都安这个铁链，以防万一 :fishb

:up glad that you had a lesson learnt in a safe way....was it the stitchings got broke off?

Make sure you have the other pair of safety chains in place too.....one between hitch & trailer
