It's a 10-team tourney....nasty weather got in the way for more participants... tourney was sponsored by "Barrie Bassmasters"

.....in 2 weeks' time, the feeding pattern may have made a difference in how "football" the fish are
31.15 was so close to the Simcoe record of 31.55 booked in 2010...

The tool is in fact only a hollow needle...in the older days, fisherwomen used their hair needle for the job, only less efficient I'd guess...
