I have used the Tempest 43cc/8" model for 2 seasons now
...no problem so far, haven't used it hard enough though
...few days back I managed to fire it up right after the 3rd pull
...left-over gas with stabilizer works like a charm for me

Auger Speed = Engine Speed/ Gear Ratio
33cc model
Auger Speed = 9000/49 =>184 RPM

43cc model
Auger Speed = 8000/30 =>267 RPM
