Sorry, my pingying is very bad.
So I went out today. The first lake I went to is Scugog. No one was on the lake, and it looks scary. so I turned away for the next lake.

then I went to Chemong lake, I still didn't see any one or any fishing hut on the lake. So I decided to try it from shore and explore further and further by drilling the holes away from the shore. The thickness was about 3 inches in the first hole, and the second hole was about 4 inches, the third hole was about 5 inches. There about 2 meters apart each hole toward the centre of the lake.

After the third hole, the problem began. The brand new auger I bought from Canadian tire started giving me trouble. It wont' drill at all. It took me more than 5 minutes to get the hole less than 1 inch deep

. The first 3 holes, each one only took less than a minutes.

After I struggled for another hour, I gave up. The ice auger doesn't drill at all.
This ice auger is what I bought from Canadian tire.

For the Elite 4 settings, it was not working well. I didn't see the signals from my lure. or maybe the water depth was too low. I might need more time to play around it, since this is the first time I use a fishing finder.

I still enjoyed the day out.
Thanks everyone,
