LINDSAY - City of Kawartha Lakes Police say officers have found a hole in the ice of the Scugog River that is "consistent with someone falling through the ice" in their search for a missing 20-year-old Fleming College student in Lindsay.
Ethan Michael Stokes, a resources drilling and blasting student originally from Holland Landing, north of Newmarket, was last seen at 1:45 a.m. Sunday in a downtown Lindsay bar after celebrating his 20th birthday with friends.
"At this time we cannot confirm that it is related to Ethan's disappearance," police stated late Monday afternoon in a release.
The Ontario Provincial Police Underwater Search and Recovery Unit has been called in to assess the hole in the ice on Tuesday morning.
In the meantime police are continuing their search and Stokes's friends and student from Fleming College's Frost Campus are conducting door-to-door canvasses in Lindsay in the quest for information to find him.
He was wearing a red coat with a green-and-yellow plaid shirt and jeans, with running shoes.
Stokes is six feet tall and weighs 200 pounds.
However it is not confirmed yet.

不是去冰钓的，是从酒吧出来然后失踪，是在peterboroug 的sgugog river, 不是在sgugog lake, 大家不要太担心。
