关于买二手船的意见!有什么要注意的?
小弟最近想进一二手船,不知各位大侠有什么介绍?网站或许店面的信息?

Contraventions Act
In 1996, the federal government's Contraventions Act came into effect. Among other things, this act enables law enforcement officials to issue tickets and fines for offences under the Transport Canada Small Vessels Regulations or the Boating Restriction Regulations.
Typical offenses include failing to carry the necessary safety equipment or committing other infractions on the water. Some examples (quoted from 1996):
Licence numbers marked incorrectly;
Unlicenced boat $55
Speeding $100
When fuelling, failure to: use funnel, close doors or ports, switch off electricals $105
Not enough flares, oars, paddles, anchor $155
Competency requirements (license) $100-250

It’s not necessarily “illegal” in the sense that it is highly unlikely you are going to get pulled over by the coast guard or local authorities and receive a citation or a conviction for anything.
Capacity plates are more of a recommendation and protection for boat manufacturers in that they know how much power is suitable for the particular hull, how much weight and passengers a particular boat or hull can carry and so on.
Having said that, if you exceed the capacity plate horsepower rating and get into a situation where you are being held liable for an accident involving injuries or death then you most likely will be on your own from a legal standpoint.
If you overpower a boat and fail to tell your insurers then you are definitely on your own in the event of an accident. Non-disclosure of any modifications leaves you basically insurance less.
Example: I have a CVX-18 with about 310 h.p., standard power is 260 h.p. Is it overpowered? Maybe. Can the hull handle the power? Without a doubt. Have I disclosed the modification and related new top speed to my insurer and paid additional premiums accordingly and covered my butt? You bet!
