我查了下Fishing Mapbook, 关于Lake St. John 的 fishing是如下描述,摘录出来,希望有所帮助,
*quote*
Due to the close proximity to urban development and major highways, Lake St. John is a heavily fished lake. Thankfully, with the increase practice of catch and release, the lake continues to support a decent sport fish fishery for a variety of species.
Fishing is best for smallmouth and largemouth bass, as bass can be found virtually anywhere along the shore structure of the lake. Bass are also readily found off any of the small islands or around the 3 m (7ft) shoal humps. The western region of the lake is known to be the main producing area for walleye, especially along the drop off. Many angles simply troll a rapala or worm harness along the drop off in search of walleye. Smallmouth bass can also be caught using this method. One particularly productive area of the lake for northern pike is the large bay found near the airport. This shallow, weedy bay often holds fair numbers of northern pike and largemouth bass. At dusk, try top water flies of lures for both species in this bay.
