今天发现我的pelican kayak elite strike 130 只有一个chamber. 比较吃惊和失望。想知道是不是硬壳的都是这样？

按照克牙克 两种制造方式应该是只有 一个chamber吧?

一种是上下两片分别热型塑, 然后两片压在一起。
还有一种是整体滾动热型塑.

我也以为SOT不会有沉危险，学习了。

所有的船，卡呀 进了水都会沉，HDPE 的材料还可以不是猛烈的撞击不会漏。 当然主要还是其他的安全措施。

我刚买来时，因为低了基本没包装（只有一些Carton纸板加一些粘胶Wrap），可能在运输途中受到猛烈撞击，有一些深刻痕。我看至少深度有一半的材料厚度。低了Offer $175 off 再加一套Welding Kit。我不干，最后玩了两个月，换了一个新的。

这种把resin 和 polyol pre mix 的没见有参巧数据, 像上面造艇那种带structural strength 的會比較重...
我有种省錢想法, 就是把切成适度小块的白色 styrofoam 跟这PU foam 混和一起用

air bags are not as reliable as solid closed cell foam blocks,
of course you may argue that the chance for all air bags to burst at the same time is very unlikely....
to stuff the air chambers with Pool Noodles is an alternative, they are made of closed cell PE Foam
why would one plan to undo these buoyant media anyways ? they are meant to be permanent

I not sure, maybe the foam got wetlog or mold, or you want to put screws or run wires there. Pool noodles are good too. However, if you order items from amazon, you get airbags for free. Instead of create waste, you may save ....

If Im in the trade I definitely will consider "foam-it-up" as an add-on/optional feature for SOT & SIT-IN kayaks

有道理，不过上面这个10lb一罐好像也用不完。就是不知道是不是expending foam。
