I like little animals, coons included

Lots of break-ins where I live recently, rare occurance over the past 20 yrs or so...
Those low lives used to climb into the backyard in the afternoon via the front wooden gate, then break in via the bay window at the back...spikes on top of these locked gates might put a damper to this..

put lots of 4~5"L nails thru a 2x4...what do you think?

Well, just make sure those low lives don't get their balls or nuts caught on your spikes while attempting to cross over your fence or gate, or a lawsuit (plus a visit or two to a urologist) might be in order?

...even had words with LD who thought I was too sensitive, overly reacting...
BUT I must have to take precautions...dont wanna just sit and wait for it to happen
