钓鱼都准备走了，结果snag了，还是今天第一次，也许是温度低了点，杆头又浸过水，顺着杆子拉线，还是一小声脆响---离杆尖10cm的地方竟然断了，st-croix。。。Avid。。。9‘6“。回家给sail打电话问能不能换，被告知现在没overcounter-replacement，还要我自己寄给Peterborough的manufacturer，我说这杆是去年买的，买的时候你们还说可以直接在店里换（如果杆有问题），和supervisor也说了，结果跟我说理解万岁，我一看当场换是没戏了，电话里要求sail给我寄过去，算是同意了，车子开过去交上破杆子，人家说至少要4-6周会有结果，还能怎样？！mlgbzd，换个杆子要这么折腾的话，我以后是不会买st.croix了，在sail的美好时光要成为过去了

sail说stcroix的policy变了，不给直接换了，得寄到manufacturer那去。所以也根本没必要看是否有同样的杆了

AF零成本保修还是不错的，现在想买到保修条款对我等有礼的越来越少，几近没有了

If you pull the line with your rod POINTING STRAIGHT AT the snag, your rod/guides would NEVER be loaded/touched.

Do you have leader on?

Well, I was trying hard not to put any load on the tip of rod when pulling the line like I did a million times before, it was just bad luck maybe. But I wonder, as I mentioned in my first thread, if the low temperature could be a factor as it is my first time ever fishing in such a low temp, and the temp is the only difference from my other millions of times pulling a snagged line

我在黎巴嫩也买过不少东西，价格好像比sail略低，很少有打折的时候啊

我在黎巴嫩也买过不少东西，价格好像比sail略低，很少有打折的时候啊

打折情况不多，最多就是no tax。估计是为了考虑会员情绪吧。非会员的20%就碰到过一次。不过今年有次会员的23% off （10+免税），湿鼻赶上了。

I used a fluro leader

If you never YANK the rod like millions of others I have seen on the river,
Then your rod must have got damaged at some point without you noticing it which is quite common.
If the rod were to have manufacturing damages, it would have been broken during the 1st couple loadings.

One of the most common way to damage your rod is when the splitshots on your setup hit your rod when the leader breaks.

Look at the bright side, you now have a legitmate excuse to get a new rod

Umm, did low temp play a role? I did dip the tip of rod in water shortly before it broke.
